Q. What is Pandora for Podcasters?

A: Pandora for Podcasters is a platform that makes it easy for podcasters and podcast owners to get their shows on Pandora. On Pandora, podcasters can grow their audience and increase revenue through monetization while benefiting from the Podcast Genome Project working behind the scenes and recommending shows to the right listeners on the platform

Q: I (or my network) already have at least one podcast on Pandora, should I use this tool to submit additional podcasts?

A: Currently, we are only accepting submissions through Pandora for Podcasters from podcasters or podcast owners who are new to Pandora. For now, please submit new podcasts to your partner manager, or by emailing podcastpartnerships@pandora.com if you are not sure who that is.

Q: Do I need an account to submit a podcast to Pandora?

A: Yes. Use your Pandora account to login. If you do not have a Pandora account, you’ll need to register first and then go to https://amp.pandora.com/podcasts to submit your podcast.

Q: How do I submit a podcast to Pandora?

A: If you have a Pandora account, you can submit your podcast by going to https://amp.pandora.com/podcasts. After logging in, you can paste the RSS feed URL to your podcast to begin the submission process. You can find a complete list of our submission guidelines here.*CDBaby, Distrokid, and Tunecore offer distribution and licensing services specifically tailored for self-releasing DIY artists.

Q: What are the technical requirements for my podcast submission?

A: The requirements are as follows:

  • RSS Feed 

    • RSS feed URLs must conform to the RSS 2.0 specifications. 

    • All episodes, XML, and artwork should be hosted on publicly addressable servers with byte-range requests enabled.

    • All episodes contain a globally unique identifier (GUID)

    • The server must support “HTTP HEAD requests”

  • Audio

    • We are currently only accepting shows in the MP3 file format. (We will be adding support for additional formats).

    • Audio must be coherent and leveled.

Q: When will I know if my podcast submission has been accepted by Pandora?

A: Due to the volume of submissions, please allow up to 4-6 weeks for our team to review your submission.

Q: How can I check the status of my submission?

A: You can check the status of your submission any time at https://amp.pandora.com/podcasts. If your podcast is accepted, you will receive a notification via email with deep links to make it easy for you to promote your content!

Q: Is it possible for me to monetize my podcast on Pandora?

A: Yes, there are monetization opportunities for your podcast on Pandora. You will have the opportunity to indicate if you’re interested in being contacted about monetization during the submission process. Ads sold would replace any ads currently within your podcast (if you have any). Please note: we will not sell ads within your podcast without obtaining further permission with a separate legal agreement.


Q: Can I submit my podcast for consideration to be featured or promoted by Pandora?

A: Podcasts will be marketed and promoted by Pandora at our editorial discretion. At this time, we aren’t accepting requests for promotion but all accepted shows are eligible for consideration.
